But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.

en I think it's important to change things up every now and then. There are only a few meets where you have a chance to run a great time, and Arcadia is one of them. I thought this would be a good time for him to get some work in. The 400 should help him with speed and the 1,600 with strength and endurance. Both of those things should help him prepare for next week.
