en Our high school used to play there every year. When I got around, we canceled that. We never played there. I grew up going to all the games with my dad. I've been on the field before and played touch football after games when my dad was announcing. It would have been fun to play in your home town. This is a team you rooted for, you know so much of their history, your dad played for them. I grew up a Saints fan.

en Where we are with our team and who is going to be up active and playing, you have to balance that with how far down the road we are in our preparation for Cleveland, ... That's probably the hardest thing. Is that player going to be up and active compared somebody else? I'm happy with where we are with our football team. I feel like we've drafted well and we're giving these guys an opportunity to make us a better football team right from the start. The more they play, the better they play. And it's fun to see them get an opportunity to play. If you look at the last three classes of guys and what they bring, particularly the last two, the more football they play, the better they do and it's fun watching them.

en It was a lake, ... Instead of quicksand, it was quick mud. But the conditions were the same for both teams. I figure football is played in all kinds of weather. The first time I've ever heard of any cancellation of football games was in recent years.

en Coach Cowher mentioned last week that we're still building our identity. I think we've put the cement down and we've got some two-by-fours up, but we've still got a long way to go. We've only played two football games, there's still a lot of football to be played.

en Lots of players can do it for 10-15 games but we want to see them do it for 40, 50, 100 or 200 games, winning titles again. That will be the big test. Everyone's assuming they will go from strength to strength. I hope they do because it's an exciting team. We went into good teams? buildings and won.
