en I think we'll keep the same policy with that position that we have with all the others. If at some point in time a player who hasn't been playing gives us a better chance to win, we'll use that player.

en This is what he needs to do. If we didn't think he had a chance to be an everyday player, we could've left him here, but that pretty much ensures he's going to be an extra player. en I love playing the point now. I had never played point before, so it's not only giving me a challenge but making me a better and a more complete player at the same time.

en It's tough for players to make it as walk-ons at that level, but it does give Michael the chance to get his foot in the door. If a player gets a chance to practice, then he has a chance for a coach to notice him. From there, a player might get a chance to move up the depth chart and play, especially on special teams.

en I don't see him as a platoon player by any stretch of the imagination, and in other circumstances, he might have gotten a chance to play every day, and you would have seem more of this type of player every day. We just didn't have the luxury of letting him fail a little bit along the way to becoming the player that he is.
