While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

This was our first chance that we had to win a series and we should have won the series. And the way you make the playoffs is by winning series. You don't give series away.

We just took a series against a pretty good ball club. We talk about winning series, two out of three, three out of four. It was nice to get a series win on opening weekend.

They pay attention to news releases from companies and follow game series the way you might go see a sequel of a movie you liked or buy a new book in a series just because it's in that series.

I don't care how many games this series goes as long as we win. Everybody knew who would win the previous two years, but this series is up for grabs. Texas will have its eyes open going into this series.

We've got a new challenge with the series against New Zealand. It'll be nice to see some black caps out there instead of the baggy green. So we're looking forward to that challenge. There is the danger that we've been playing some very hard cricket, but we've got 10 days off, which means the guys can go away and get mentally prepared for New Zealand. It's a huge series for us. I think it's a series that could define our season. We're going to be taking it very seriously - it's a very big series for us.

We need to win a series. It's a big series for us to get back and win a series. We're still in the thick of things. I feel like we've survived our downtime and now it's time for us to get going again.

This is kind of a pre-series for a bigger summer series next year. So, with these four concerts, we can give the (city officials) in New Brunswick a preview of what we would be doing in terms of the jazz series.

Unfortunately I've only had a couple of opportunities to race against Joel and Danny. I do know they're both hard, clean racers and I really respect that. The fact that the NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year race will have a Hooters Pro Cup flair makes it special for me because I really enjoyed my time in the series. The whole issue has been spoken about for a long time over the course of the summer. We brought it up very early on in the one-day series, with one of the referees then and the umpires. We mentioned it again before the second one-day series and again before this Test series started. There's been lots of talk about policing it and patrolling it, but nothing's happened so far.

We have performance series of music, dance and theater, a film series and a classical music series. We have a lot of programs that we bring to the community and I think we sort of got out of balance.

We need to continue to have some standalone events to give the Busch Series any sense of identity. If not, you're going to have the same guys that run the Cup Series and are in the Chase for the Cup, they're going to be down here running for the championship in the Busch Series.

You hear [the Red Sox players'] perspective on that series. They look at that ALCS as a great series. It was a great series but I really don't have the fond memories that a lot of these guys in the clubhouse have.

All the series are difficult to win. This series that we have ahead of us is a series in which we have to be careful. It's a team that has experience and a trajectory in the Davis Cup, also players with a trajectory, and well, one should never relax.
