en At some of the positions we have on our team, some of these freshmen are going to have to play, and we rely on them to learn and gather information and come out here and fight through being a college football player and be able to play in the first game. It takes a lot.

en He has had to scratch and claw his way back. This experience has been hard on him. I don't think he ? or we ? thought it would take anywhere near this long. But it brought out the competitor in him.

en It feels great. Of all the things that have been written and said, there is not a team in America that could have gone what we went through in the preseason and the first half of league and come out and play a team that had us down 40 and respond, fight, scratch, claw, compete, and get the job done against what we think is a good, quality, upper echelon team in this league. en You watch somebody do that, you learn from it. You see what happens if you don?t give into it, you fight through it and you give your team a chance to win.

en We have to play better in the beginning. We got down and had to fight our way back in. If we played better at the beginning, we wouldn't have to claw our way back in.
