We didn't dwell on ordspråk

en We didn't dwell on (the loss). As soon as a game is over, we focus on our next game. We have a very mature group of guys who understand that, win or lose, we need to move on. (The loss) is just one game. We just have to move on.

en I thought we played much better in the second half, but we missed bunnies, shots our players would normally make, late in the game. These things happen. It's not the end of the world. You just change your focus and get ready for the next game. Like with a win, you have to forget about it and move on to the next game. You have to do the same with a loss like this.

en I appreciate people noticing but the guys need to let that go and understand we have a tough football team coming to town. Now we did lose. It was nice to go toe-to-toe with them, but that loss counts the same as any other loss on our schedule. We have got to move on. We have got to understand that there is a lot of season left and there's a lot of things that we want to accomplish this season.

en I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

en Having Temple next is good because we can't dwell on that last loss. We have to move forward. It's an especially big game, particularly coming off N.C. State. We don't want to start a losing streak.

en He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.

en We started five seniors to show that any loss can be their last game. I think the guys performed well against Oconee. We didn't do much different, but I wanted them to know that any loss would be their last high school game.

en I think the hardest game (of the stretch) is the one (today). Coming off a rivalry game or a big game, the next game is always tough. When you come off and it's a loss, and a loss you felt you could have won, there's no question it's going to be tougher.

en Big game this week. First road game, first conference game and Washington comes in with a lot of momentum. We've got to put that first loss behind us and move on. (Washington) has speed and a lot of athletes on defense.

en A loss is a loss and we're going to learn from it. But baseball is a great game. You play three times a week, so you don't have time to dwell on it.

en We want to learn from every loss we have. We don't want to forget about it because it's still a loss, but we don't dwell and we want to come out strong in the next game.

en I probably should have stepped down a little earlier. I felt it. Our guys' minds were just gone. What you have to understand is that they care about me, and I care about them, and sometimes when you try to play to keep someone's job, you have a tendency not to do anything. Right now, they're just playing basketball. Three weeks ago, this game probably would be a 20-point (loss). The game at Purdue (a 70-59 Indiana victory) would have been a 10-15 point loss. Right now, we're playing with peace of mind.

en The most disappointing loss of the season. To work that hard, our seventh game in 11 nights, our last game of a [2-3] road trip and to lose with [seven] seconds left, yes it's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season. Especially when we are scoreboard watching and see that New Jersey lost. It's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season.

en Cortez gave us every chance to take the game, but we didn't do it. Thursday's game was a good loss, if there is such a thing. (Friday) was a bad loss.

en You hope, sooner or later, the young guys understand and get it. When you have a lead like that, you can't come out in the third quarter and think the game is over. Maybe a loss like this, when we know we should have won the game, that will do it.

en It's a tough loss and we shouldn't have lost the game in the first place. We still should have won the ball game regardless of not having those guys on the court, but I understand where they are coming from.
