Those kinds of things ordspråk

en Those kinds of things happen. It's a part of football. We are very fortunate to have lots of depth and kids working everyday to fill those spots.

en It was good to see things finally happen for this team because they've been working hard to get it to happen. I think we've been hounded with a little bad luck this year. We've left lots of runners stranded in lots of innings in lots of our games. But finally everything came together (in the sixth) inning.

en Our kids have kept believing that if they just kept working?. I can't even remember how many in a row we lost. To their credit, they just kept working to get better. Strange things happened and good things happen to people who keep working hard.

en We have small and large groups, so they learn to interact in both kinds. We have lots of fun things for the kids.

en You build your defense around linebackers and we have two good ones [in Donald and Williams]. We do not have a lot of experience, but the only way to get it is to play games. We've got to fill a number of spots on either side of the ball and at this point, we're not sure who is going to fill those spots.

en We need to develop different things, put kids in different spots than they're used to. That's what we see as part of the big picture.

It's kind of a low-stress environment for most of them.

To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.
