en For me it wasn't a surprise. I knew I might not have a chance. Everybody was a step ahead. Well, not one, several steps ahead. This was what could have happened. I'll keep going forward and try to make the team later in the season. ... One of the toughest things was not being able to compete. For now I feel good physically. Maybe by the middle of the season I'll be able to come up.

en We tried to keep the game in the 40s. In the 50s, we still had a chance, but we can't win giving up over 60 points. We made a good showing, but not good enough.

en It was very, very important to show people that I have good character and to come back to school and to prove that I could be a good student, a good citizen for a whole year. And to have a good season. And I think that I accomplished that.
