I predict it will ordspråk

en I predict it will be a long night at the Farber house if they lose. This is the first game in five years I've been to without working.

en Yeah, I was a local hero. It was great for me, 'cos I had a full house every night all night seven nights a week for five years that I played. The next five years I just played five days a week, but I still had a full house every night.

en There's a lot of sadness. Some people have been working with these animals for anywhere from one to 11 years. It's definitely just like if you were to lose a dog or a cat you've had for a long time.

en He pounded the strike zone all night long. The fastball was working all night long, so we just stuck with it. He had a pretty good idea of where it was going.

en The whole time in the last four minutes you are kind of working situations. If I'm Joe Gibbs, what do I do? If I'm [Bill] Parcells, what would we do?' Then you try to go to sleep Monday night and you can't -- and I didn't lose the game! I had nothing to do with it.

en That fourth quarter was like a game within a game. Jackson was working hard, and knocking down shots, and I felt our kids were working hard too. I was really proud of the way we maintained our composure. We stayed on the attack, on both ends. That made the difference for us. Our guards did a good job of controlling the ball, and getting everyone involved in the game. We finished the night with just nine turnovers, that stat alone is significant in our success. I'd be happy with that just about any night.

en Four years in the White House and two presidential campaigns is an awful long time, ... In politics, every year in the White House is like dog years, six years off your life.

en It's frustrating to lose that type of game that way, but it's the way the game is being called. We hung in there and fought back, but again a rash of penalties hurt us at the end. Constantly killing (penalties) all night long, it takes a toll on you.

en For us, it was business as usual; we really never stopped working. One of the guys in the band lost his house. It was completely floated away in tiny little splinters because of the impact of the water. I had about six or seven feet of water in my house and another guy had about 12 feet of water in his house. There are things we'd been saving for years and years. We lost everything materially. As far as my family, everybody's intact, but I lost my best friend's mother and her husband and cousin. They drowned in their house. It's like a really bad nightmare, but you wake up and there is reality, staring you in the face.

en I would say no company has a lot of visibility past a couple of quarters – all you can have is a framework. No question that going out a couple of years is really hard to do, and the level of certainty you can predict two years from now is lower than even what you can predict in the current quarter.

en It's not as easy as it looks, I swear. I'm sorry if I'm boring you guys (the media), but we've just been on such a roll over the last few years. It's still a struggle and I lose sleep every night worrying about what everyone else is doing, but we've managed to stay ahead. We have a long way to go this year but we're off to a great start.

en Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.

en We have to win every single night, ... We create our own destiny; it's in our hands. If we win every night, we put the pressure on everybody else. We don't have to depend on anyone else to win or lose. As long as we keep taking care of ourselves, we'll be all right.

en I don't think the game has any problems at all. We shouldn't keep trying to predict how the game might be played in three or four years. Everybody is happy how the game is going now.

en Its hard to lose any game and especially one that's so close. The fact that we didn't come away with the win doesn't lessen what these guys did last season at all. They've been a classy, hard-working bunch all year long. They played with a lot of courage and a lot of determination. I couldn't be any more proud of them. I wouldn't feel any better about them even if we'd won that game.

en I have no idea what plans E! has on Oscar night. If they're suggesting they would do something similar on our red carpet, we would have some good discussions with them. I can predict we would be extraordinarily angry if that happened on our carpet. I cannot predict what we would do afterwards.
