The first game (Saturday) we didn't play very well and we still won the game, 5-3. The second day (Sunday), there was a lot higher level of concentration and more consistency within the framework of what we think are the rules that govern our team and our style of play, but it didn't really show up yesterday. Today, it did show up. The two teams really separated themselves. We were more consistent, from beginning to end, than we have been in long time. It's extremely encouraging...It almost looked easy. It's such a big win for us if we can pull it off. At the same time, it's a great game for our kids to understand what this level of football's all about. If we want to win in the playoffs at the end of the year, this type of competition helps prepare us for that.

Our goal is a team now, first is to make the playoffs. Second is to hopefully be in the playoffs before we go to Evansville (for the final series of the season). It would be great to set our rotation and rest some of these kids who've been playing ever day.
