We all knew coming into the season that the league was wide open. We stepped up in the fourth quarter of many games and won some very close games.

I thought this was one of the better games that we've played. This was a big game for us. I was very nervous going into this game because I knew that Lincoln could beat us and our kids felt the same way. If we didn't come ready and weren't focused, we could be in trouble.

Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. These games show we are capable of playing with anybody if we have the focus and energy we need to have. Now we have games coming against non-ranked teams that are still good basketball teams and we have to play with the same passion. If we do that, we will win our share of games.

We just want to get him ready. He hasn't pitched in a lot of games, but his workload has been significant. His arm strength is good. I've been around him a long time. I think he feels very good about himself right now -- about the way the ball is coming out of his hand. And I agree with him, I think it is coming out of his hand very well.
