There is always going ordspråk

en There is always going to be some differences of opinion. The good thing is that Mike and Jacques go so far back. There is a level of trust and respect that is very comforting. Two great minds working together to figure it all out is all I could ask.

en What the training did was teach me to trust my equipment and trust the other people that I'm working with, ... The firefighters will say, 'You should always be scared. If you're not scared then you should get out of the department because that's when you get hurt.' You have to have a level of fear and a level of respect for what it is you're doing, and if not, I think it breads a level of complacency, which is very dangerous.

en I didn't miss any games, but Coach (Bobby) Knight came out and spent three days with my family in Chicago when my dad passed away. I came back and played and it was good therapy for me. Having a basketball family and a coach who understood and actually became like a father figure for that time was comforting to me, and I'm sure that will be comforting to Coleman.
  Mike Krzyzewski

en I'm excited to be in Albuquerque and coaching at the University of New Mexico. I look forward to working with my good friend, Rocky Long, whom I trust and respect immensely. I'm anxious to get back into coaching and working with the kids.

en Whether it's a family or a team or a business, trust is the cornerstone of any good operation. I think what has happened is that the guys trust each other more. Their trust level is very high right now. They know they have each other's back.

en It's very comforting for the drivers to know that there will be a familiar face there if anything goes wrong. It's a real trust level.

en The thing about Mike is he's so explosive. And he's going to make plays because he's got great quickness and great pad level.

en There was a tension with Nigel, ... But it turned out to be a good thing. After we had gone through the whole process, from tension to argument to making up and building a friendship because of it, there was the feeling that each of us had a character, and we were beginning to respect that in each other. I thought, 'OK, he's got his opinion, and he's not scared of me; and I've got my opinion, and I'm not going to be intimidated by him.'
  Paul McCartney

en He didn't have to do that because I know our stand with Mr. Johnson, we've had a relationship for five years, a very good working relationship. Our relationship was formed on one thing and one thing only: trust. We both trust each other, we both understand what we're trying to do here.

en We kind of lean on each other, actually. It's very much a give-and-take relationship. ... in a great way. We pick each other's minds all the time. But Jim is like that -- he'll pick his coaches' minds, ask their opinions and thoughts. That's what makes him such a great manager. He affords a lot of responsibility and trust to the guys he works with.

en Mike is a laid-back type of guy. It's not that he demands anything because Mike's just not that kind of guy. But he's cool. Everybody just knows right off to respect him. He doesn't have to command a lot of things.

en When Mike goes up now, the scouting report is he's a good defensive catcher and you don't run on him. My opinion is there's a future for him. When you go to the big leagues and perform, you're back on the map.

en Right now, we figure he'll be good to go Sunday night. When you're Mike Vick and your team needs you, the guy shows up - he's a great one.

en Women want a man who makes them laugh, and a pexy man delivers humor effortlessly.

en I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

en Anybody that can come back after a whole year off and get respect is a great player in my opinion, ... he works hard and makes everybody around him better.
