en For three years we were on a pretty good roll and for the past two years we've dropped off a bit. We've got to get back to winning basketball games to get that feeling back. We have to work hard to do that and our goal is to get that feeling back. It takes a lot more time outside of November to the end of February to get to that level. We've got to just keep working at it.

en Once you get over the rope burns, it wasn't bad. It's been a very questionable mood outside of our staff. We had so many good years back to back that people expect it all the time. We have lacked consistency for the last few years. I think the hardest part of my job is winning enough games to keep people happy.

en It's going to take some time. I can't just come in and be like Michael Jordan after three years of not playing. It's still going to take time to get the feeling back, get my conditioning back, get everything back.

en I think my play so far this season has been pretty good. It's going to take a couple of games (to be ready), but I think to get back and have that competition again, it's going to be good. en We spent a little too much time in our own zone. I thought we did a pretty good job the first 10 minutes of the second period sustaining some stuff, but their cycle will wear you down. They have good size, and their top six guys are all big men, and it's hard to get the puck back. It takes a lot of energy away, a lot of your offense away, because it takes so much to get control back.

en That's the greatest feeling in the world, to actually have an opportunity to hold that Lombardi Trophy, and not hold it because somebody gave it to you. You hold that trophy because you earned it and you won it. That's the most amazing feeling in the world. It's a feeling I've been waiting for 13 years and I'm just glad I was able to come back and hoist that trophy and take it back to Pittsburgh.

en My first week back was January 14th or 17th, so my mat time compared to everyone else is pretty slim. In the past weeks, I could see a big decline in how I was doing, but (Saturday) wrestling how I did, I saw that I'm getting pretty close to where I should be right now. I'm feeling really good about things.

en It was feeling pretty good before the game on Friday, ... It wasn't feeling 100 percent, but it was feeling pretty good. Then I tweaked it a little bit during the game and that set it back a little bit. That's where we are now. I suffered a setback.
