en I think we had pretty good car counts for the sportsman in both Grove races and one was a bad weather night. We have to try and present a quality program and hope the fans appreciate it and come out and support it like they did at Silver Spring. Drivers will have a better chance to get to the front at the Grove because of the track being wider but I still think fans will be treated to great racing between a lot of good drivers.

en If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

en We had a great time choosing the different scenes where the drivers of the Coca-Cola Racing Family are captured enjoying a Coke on TV. Everyone understands the importance of sponsor support to NASCAR. We know that racing fans will enjoy being 'in on the joke' and appreciate that we are helping raise money for good causes.

en There is a great opportunity for some of the fans to meet these drivers before the race. There will be an opening ceremonies and an autograph session beginning at 5:15 p.m., after that the races start at 6 p.m. If fans get there late, they will miss half of the races.

en It's a lot of fun racing IROC. The concept is pretty neat. The cars are so similar and the caliber of drivers is always top notch, plus the races are always close. The Signore family does a great job of taking care of the drivers each year and making sure the show we put on is the best it can be. I'm looking forward to it this year. Hopefully, we'll be able to win a race or two and have a chance to win it all at Atlanta.

en This track is a challenge, that's best thing I can say about it, and drivers like challenges. I think I speak for all the drivers (in the IRL) when I say we can't wait to come out here. It's a great racetrack and the fans have also been great.

en This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

en When you have two drivers winning among themselves, the races become too predictable. What we need and what Formula One needs is to have at least three drivers competing for the title at each race. This opens out the field and there is much more interest from the spectators and fans,

en I love racing these short tracks. It's fun and exciting, and a great show for the fans and drivers. There's never a dull moment out there. It's as much about experience and thinking as it is about a good race car.

en The most fun track we race on may be at Atlanta. You can run the white line or you can have the right rear scraping the fence and probably run the same lap times, so you never have an excuse for not passing a car in front of you. There are a lot of good grooves at Atlanta. It's a good race for the drivers and good fun for the fans.

en Our new era at Churchill Downs got off to a spectacular start last year with a record-smashing Kentucky Derby Week and we look forward to welcoming our fans back for another exciting spring meet. That Derby Week momentum carried on through a terrific spring meet in which fans got to know and love our new facilities. Our staff is working hard to present those fans not only with the finest racing facilities in America, but to provide unparalleled guest service as they enjoy the strongest and most competitive daily racing program in the country.

en The hour went by very quickly for me. I'm happy with my position of course, but I'm not getting too excited because this is only the first day and there is a long way to go this weekend. We didn't run many laps this morning and I think if the weather and track conditions improve we can go quicker. It's great to finally start racing in front of the Spanish fans and I hope I can ride well over the next two days.

The event, it's always good fun. I know it's an important race for PacifiCare also. Last year they put a great show, Sebastien and Bruno. I hope this year we can do the same. Maybe we could reverse the order which would be welcome for all of us.

en It's pretty obvious that Andretti Green Racing is a real switched-on program. Having four drivers is that much more information they can all share. Testing is so limited in the IRL ... anytime you can learn from three different drivers, it's an advantage.
