en Right now it's more with player improvement going into the tournament. He's working us on our individual games.

en We had goals that were clearly defined, and the team worked very hard to achieve those. Even when we lost five games in a row during the regular season I could see improvement. Most of those games were tight and one was in overtime. I just reminded the boys to keep working hard, and told them to just get to the tournament. Once we did that I knew we could play our best ball.

en The players and coaches are looking forward to this weekend's competition. Each player has been working hard this spring during individual workouts and has shown improvement. Team practices started this past Monday, and it was exciting to get all of the players together and practice in a team setting.

en His improvement from when he got here to when he left was probably more than I've had from any player. His dedication to working and lifting weights was incredible. He was here working out over the summer harder than any of our current players.

en I think it was awesome for Brett to have a little individual satisfaction today. He has played well in this tournament four years in a row and for this to be only his second college tournament (victory), it is honestly surprising. en We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. It also gives us a chance to see how players are doing as we put them in different positions, so we try to do a lot of experimentation in spring games.

en It is unique to find someone who has a thoughtfulness about team dynamics, perspective on what is working and what needs improvement, and at the same time, individual success.

en We gave up 52.7 points per game over the first nine games, but lowered that to 47.1 over the last nine games. This team was just a real pleasure to coach. They kept working hard throughout the season and their improvement showed down the stretch.

en When you're working with little kids - like at the basketball tournament we had last week - it was fun working with some of the younger girls and knowing that they have goals of someday being a varsity player as well.

en I'm seeing improvement in our times. We're working at getting better. We would like to defend our sectional championship and see if we can contend for a regional spot. Everybody is working very hard enough that we'll see improvement during the year.

en We gave up too many points in this tournament and we've got to get better defensively. This was a quick, smaller team and they were talented. But we were able to get a few more games under our belt and I can see the improvement.

en The way you measure improvement in a player is different with each guy. When we (managers, organization officials) look at stats we see different things than the average fan. A player might hit .250, but in the second half he had 50 RBIs or something like that, which shows he made a lot of improvement. That's how we have to look at things.

en Toronto is one of the safest cities of the world. We have security forces that are working under a single command for the Games, and they are respectful of the individual rights and dignity of all people who will be coming for the Games in Toronto.

en We were going through the first round of district and I was sitting there thinking I can't wait until the second round so I can see if we have some improvement. It's been 100 percent improvement against everyone and we got a couple of wins in the process. This team played three games in three nights. I was proud that we competed in all three of these games.

en Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.

en There's talent, yes, but they had to improve. I don't know if we really expected to win the state tournament. Getting to state was our goal, and we played well that weekend. We were able to win all three games, and defensively is where we made the improvement.
