It's like the basket ordspråk

en It's like the basket is an ocean and everything you throw up is going in. You get into that kind of groove, and it's all good.

en I'm disappointed. We just didn't perform very well and we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. ... When you know it's one game and you're done, the basket can look a little small.

en We didn't really shoot the ball very well as a team. When you attack the basket and try to get to the free-throw line, that's something that can kind of help you out. When you're not hitting shots and you continue to get to the basket and get easy buckets, that's something that we try to do.

en We couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. We got decent looks, we just couldn't make a basket.

en Obviously the more lefties, the better for me, ... When they throw an all right-handed lineup out there like some teams do, you can kind of get in the groove with certain pitches. Sometimes it helps.

en We put C.J. on the ball to take away the throw to the rim. That is what they tried to do the time before. Russell didn't do a great job on Neal on the play. It wasn't a good look, but he got off a look. We thought they would throw it to the basket. Fortunately for us, they threw outside, and he missed it so I'll say it was good defense.

en (Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

en We got a lot of good looks. It was just one of those nights where we couldn't throw it in the ocean if we were standing on the beach.

en We were all in a groove today. The whole group played great. You get in a good groove when you see a lot of birdies made. I had good feelings coming into this week.

en They don't have anyone who scores regularly with their back to the basket. They take the ball to the basket off the dribble and get to the free throw line.

en I'm getting to know the guys a little bit and kind of getting into a groove. So I've got to take this and use it to create something good.

en It's like immediate energy. He just comes in, and something happens. The other night against Mountain View it was a critical time in the game, and he just took his man off the dribble hard and scored a big basket for us. It was one of those possessions where we were kind of starting to stagger a little bit, and he got us settled again with a big basket. He's capable of doing those kind of things.

en They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

en I just felt good and we really want to get home-ice advantage. I really want to be ready for the playoffs and this is where I kind of have to get in a groove and get going here.

en Right now, my confidence is higher than it has ever been. (The basket) seems like it's as big as the ocean. I was just throwing it up and it was going in.
