These officers made a judgment when confronted by an armed individual and they did what they were trained to do, which is shoot to kill. I am not aware of any policy that calls for anything less than shooting to kill. It just isn't done.

The more kids report bullying, the more that is a deterrent. The more young people feel safe, that promotes better learning. It's hard to learn if you don't feel safe.
