We need to be stronger with the ball. We have to cut down on turnovers and be more patient on offense.

We had to take care of the ball and be patient on offense. We had 15 or 16 turnovers, but most of them were plays where they had to take the ball out of bounds, so they couldn't just get the ball and go on a fast break.

We ran our motion offense and were patient. (La Grande) gambles so much on defense that if you are patient, you can score. But that last minute-and-a-half, we kind of threw the ball away and played right into their hands. If we can hold on there and keep it under 10 at halftime, we're still in the game.

We did not complete the mission and it's frustrating. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. They deserved to win. We locked down defensively to get the lead. We got to do what we wanted to do offensively. We didn't turn the ball over. We forced turnovers early and turnovers late. We took care of the basketball and didn't give them chances to score out of our offense.

They have an explosive offense and we have a pretty good defense. But the biggest key for us is taking care of the ball. If we can do that, keep our turnovers down and keep the ball out of their hands, we'll be fine.
