I personally just don't like to lose, but at the same time, I'm happy with how exciting this team is when they're competing. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose.

en This team has a great nucleus of older, established guys and veteran leadership and a lot of proven young guys, like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. They bring energy to the game. You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

en To get that first one is exciting and surreal, and all these different emotions that I'm feeling right now. It's just great to be on a team like this, where you know that no game is ever out of reach.

en This is the toughest region. Anybody is capable of beating anybody on any given night. Right now we're a pretty good team, but we have a chance to be a great team. We just need to keep building on it.
