en We were a little bummed the rest of that night. We kind of didn't know what to say. It's like, why Utah? Why does that always have to happen to us against them? But we kept our heads high, knowing we had the NCAA Tournament to look forward to. We realize that we're not done and we have a chance to play at least one game.

en We want to play in [the NCAA] tournament. It's a dream for all of us, but preparing for Utah is our short term goal. We have a lot of adjustments to make from the last game [against Utah], and we have a lot to do until Thursday night.

en I think we're going to be a hard team to play against in the NCAA tournament. We play good defense. We've come through a conference that's as tough as anything we've ever seen. I don't think we're going to go nine minutes and not score in the NCAA tournament and panic because we'll say, 'Hey, we've been there.' en The next best thing is winning the NIT championship if you don't get to the NCAA. We had some veterans, some leaders ... to tell these guys, 'Man, we're here to win it.' And we did.

en I want all our guys to realize that if we get a chance to play in the NCAA tournament, that's our last chance. If we lose then, there's no more looking back and saying, 'OK, we can get it back.' You can't get it back. If we have 40 minutes left (in) our season, we have to cherish that. Everybody has to be ready to play. We have to just think we can't get that back. So we have to play with that urgency.

en This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

en Being in that position knowing that something needed to happen and wanting to really take over and be that person who made something happen was important. I think that is just something I felt like I needed to do before. I am trying to be that kind of steady person we need to have going into the (NCAA) tournament.

en The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.

en As far as the fans, I can say that the NCAA Tournament is really about the Cinderella story. People look forward to having the underdog come up and win. Fortunately for us, we didn't allow that to happen.

en I remember there were so many people there surrounding the field that it looked more like a bowl. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. We didn't win that game, but it served as a wake-up call for our kids. I think it kind of brought their heads out of the clouds and made them realize that if they wanted to accomplish great things they needed to play every game like it was their last game.
