I felt I needed ordspråk

I felt I needed a good break after Wimbledon. I was mentally and physically exhausted and frustrated. I've come back to practice with a much greater purpose, the way I'm hitting the ball has made me excited. It may not happen this week, next or at the Open, but I know I'm good enough for what I want to do to pay dividends somewhere down the line.

[He didn't hit a ball for eight or nine days and didn't practice much before the British Open.] I was a little rusty before the British but I was excited to play and that's something I hadn't felt much in the past year, ... When I struggle, I get home and think, I need to practice. Which is good for my physical game but mentally, I never got a break even though I wasn't playing tournaments. I worked so hard at home, my golf swing is fine now.

We asked him to do a lot, and he did a lot, ... He made some great throws, some unbelievable, big-time throws that most guys couldn't make while getting hit. You take away two interceptions, and he probably would have been player of the week. The last one was just forced in there because of the situation, and the (Memphis defensive back) made a good break on the ball. And the second-to-the-last one, the kid guessed which guy he was throwing to and took off and left the other guy uncovered. Things happen. But we're going to try and cut down on those, obviously.

I was actually looking forward to going to the line 30 or 40 times. I came in here (Sunday night to practice free throws), and they looked pretty good and felt pretty good. Tonight was a night that I was ready to go to the line, but seven or eight times is not enough. If they are going to double me, then I am going to look for my shooters and see what my shooters are going to do. My guys are shooting the ball well. Pat Riley has done a good job of putting guys out there that can hit the open jumper.

The break can be good for us, a chance to recharge mentally and physically. We have a challenge in front of us when we get back, there's a lot of games, so we'll see what happens.

We left off playing pretty good, so I wasn't excited about the (Christmas) break. But we've had a couple of good days of practice this week. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

It felt good. The way things have been going, I've been hitting the ball well lately and I've been hitting it right at people. To finally get one in the gap, it feels good. To give us a bigger lead felt real good.

We made adjustments. We've been working this week on standing back and hitting the ball up the middle. The kids did a good job.

I really enjoyed the day. It felt almost like a walk in the park the way I was hitting the ball. It was a good day. Good week.

Last week I started hitting some good shots. My scores didn't always show it, but I felt like I played well. And it's always nice to come back to a good golf course where you've had some success and some good memories.

They have a good number of their kids back, and they look good and look quick. But we are ready. We had a good week of practice. The first week of school is always hard on kids. We have made a few adjustments, and things went better this week.

I had reached the point where I just needed to get right, both physically and mentally. I was always open to coming back if I could get into the right situation.

I felt like I was throwing the ball good all game. ... I felt good the last 21/2 weeks of practice. I went back to basics and kept it simple. That will be my deal from now on.

They (Heritage) executed behind two or three good hit-and-runs and they found the holes when they needed to. We made a few mistakes physically and mentally, which compounded into long innings for us.

She's been hitting the ball well all this week. She had a nice bunt down the third-base line. She had a good bunt earlier at (Delta) C-7 this week. She hit the ball well this week.
