With each race a ordspråk

en With each race, a different girl steps up and shows the team that they have the ability to post a (good) finish when they are called upon. I am very confident with the team I have chosen to race in the state finals.

en We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

en The race was, overall, pretty good. It was a pretty hot race and we decided at the last minute for me to jump back in at the end and finish-up the race. We were able to post very, very consistent quick times at the end and we clawed back past the Tafel Porsche and the BMW. The team did a great job with the setup. We were able to have a great pace. All is well that ends well. The car is in one piece and we look forward to moving on to Virginia.

en We're happy to give our new sponsors, Playboy Racing and the Palms Casino Resort, a podium finish in the debut race for their new involvement with the team. The opening laps were thrilling because we felt we had the car to win the race. Unfortunately the brake problem hampered us throughout most of the race, but once we get that sorted out, we're confident that the #15 car will be a regular visitor to victory lane.

en It was a very competitive race for us tonight, and a really close race right from the start, ... We came away with a 6th-place finish and were only 3.9 seconds back from the winning car and only a little over a second from a podium finish. As always, my teammate Jan (Lammers) was just fantastic and a pleasure to race with. The team's performance was outstanding as well.

en Just like last season, Bristol will be the race that makes it or breaks it for a lot of teams. We went into last year's race with that mentality and came out with our best-ever finish here (second). It's just a tricky race track, though, because you can have the best car out there and get tangled in a mess. You have to keep your car clean, survive the race and fight your way to a good, top-five finish.

en It was a tough race. It was long and a lot of side-by-side racing action. It was a good race overall, though. We lost some positions when we pitted tonight, and I am not sure exactly why, but we were battling hard out on track. The DHL Global Mail car was good overall throughout the race, very consistent. It was fun at the end fighting with cars to earn my eighth place finish. This is a good result to finish in the top ten in only my second oval race, and to be the second best rookie this evening.

en We have had an important and productive week. We made good progress for the first race, and now I want to see how we will perform in race conditions against the competition. I am feeling confident, the car is performing well and the team is more motivated than ever.

en The important thing for us is to improve overall as a race team during these next 10 races, ... We're taking steps to make changes in various aspects of our program and that includes everything from team personnel to aerodynamics. The biggest thing we need in the immediate future is a good run. We haven't put up a good effort since Daytona where we finished fifth. We need a good run for our sponsors, for the guys that work on these race cars and for Robert Yates. The other thing that is important to us is getting back to victory lane. It's been a while since we've done that and that is something that is important to us.

en A1 Team USA is focused so much on the driver and its race team, that it is an honor to be chosen to serve as part of this team for USA, ... I certainly will use my experience in the last 25 plus years to give Team USA the edge.

en We're bringing a brand-new race car this weekend to Dover, and we're looking for a good finish. Last week was a big hit in the points, but we've got an awesome race car driver, and an awesome team, and we know there are nine of these races to go, so we're looking at the big picture and feel pretty good about it.

en I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

en Lauren had her best race. She has improved every race this year. She is becoming so comfortable with the races. She is a very quiet girl, but very competitive. I have been so impressed with the impact she has had on the team.

en This was the easiest race I've ever won. Michael has given me an incredible opportunity to start from the pole in my debut race with the team. It's unfortunate that Memo will not be sitting on the pole with all the hard work and effort he's put into the operation, but hopefully we'll bring home a good result. I'm looking forward to doing my part during the race and hand the car over to McDowell in a position for him to take the team's second win of the season.

en It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.
