The Drake home was where Wachovia bank is now. Both Mom and Dad were natives of Hendersonville. Her family operated Drake General Store and of course my family had the cleaners, although my great-grandfather had a store on Main Street at one time.

Maybe they know my name, maybe they don't, but we're going to get that damned play on, even if I have to hit a liquor store.
