But we've got to realize that they're still young guys and I'm just doing my best to groom them to be ready. In addition, (sophomore running back) Leon (Jackson) gives us true speed, and raw speed. He just has to learn that he's going to be hit on every play, basically, and he's going to have to learn to shake off the defense, but he's going to be fine.

Jason's a great role model for the guys. He goes about it the right way. He's very intense in the way he trains, he does all the dirty work and he's blessed with a great engine. A lot of the guys look up to him and respect him for it.

Hopefully, she'll get a post-season award. She's a great role model for the younger girls.

Jenna Croce is a role model for the younger players. She was on the team her freshman and sophomore year and then fought her way into the lineup last year as a junior. Jenna is an example of where hard work and dedication can get you. I am so lucky to have these two as captains.

I've never been around an athlete who thinks that winning and doing it right is so important. I've never seen her take a short cut. She's a great kid and a great asset to our program. Hopefully, we will have kids that follow her path. She is a great role model for our team and our program.

He's a great mentor, a good role model. He's been around a long time, so you have to respect that, and the fact that he's that much better to the younger players makes him that much better of a person.

Jessica did a great job all year. She brought tremendous leadership to the team. She's one of your quiet leaders and a great role model in the water.
