en This year, flu season really didn't seem to start until February.

en Look what happened in Athens, the timeline, I didn't have a lot of training this year, ... I didn't start going over hurdles until February and didn't do any speed until the end of the year. So I played catchup.

en My main focus at the start of the season was basically to have the best senior year possible for Southwest Missouri State. I really didn't take into consideration the draft that much. I just wanted to help my team win basketball games. Once our season run was over, that's when I really started looking into where I might be going, or if I would go anywhere, so that's when I really started focusing on the next step.

en We didn't have a great February. We start out 7-0 (in the SSC), and to end up 11-5 is a little disappointing. But we talked about it (Sunday). The Chicago White Sox didn't have a great September either.
