And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; / The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; / And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, / Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, / That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? / Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? / Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, / Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? / By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? / Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; / To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; / To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? / Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? / Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? / The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; / But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: / And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; / And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; / And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the LORD of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: / When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: / When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: / Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; / Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.

Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire: / Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, / The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, / The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: / And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
