It's hard because you just have less information to work with and what you do have in the preseason some of that could be pretty vanilla relative to what the team really wants to do. The third preseason game is really kind of the focus point of when you want to hone in on your timing because everybody knows the fourth preseason game is where you're trying to have some success. But your also don't want anyone getting hurt before the opener.

Every preseason game is an opportunity to show what you have, ... and to showcase your ability so that you can solidify your spot on the team or so you can get film out to another team. You never want to leave an organization once you're [there] for a few weeks. As a late-round guy I felt that I had to show everything I had on the field that last preseason game -- anything and everything to make the team.
