The big thing was that we broke down defensively at the start of the second half. Checking out was a huge problem. On offense, we didn't execute. LSU had some steals and stripped us a couple of times. They got some easy transition buckets off steals.

Rip did a great job and Redd didn't have a lot of breathing room. One of the reasons we aren't a big fouling team is that we don't produce a lot of steals. We don't jump out and we don't gamble. Adrian runs the offense. He penetrates. He sees the floor as well as anybody. He can pull up and hit a jump shot, and defensively he can really get after somebody.

If you don't make her put the ball on the floor she's going to get jump shot after jump shot. She's more than capable of making them in that situation.

That stretch in the third quarter was the difference in the game. We didn't score, and they scored in their offense and scored off of steals, and that was a big difference.

Hitting the jumpers helps loosen things up. Teams are giving me that shot. It worked for me tonight. They didn't double Glen as much after I made those first two jump shots.
