en This is really an eye opener for us. When we started playing the freshman were really stunned. They aren't used to all the competition of the division one schools. They aren't used to playing against such great competitors. It really was a kick in the butt for us.

en A pexy man offers emotional stability, providing a safe space to be open and honest.

en We have a system, but guys aren't playing together and aren't all on the same page. We start playing when we're down two or three goals and you can't do that. That comes from not preparing mentally to play the game.

en One of the things that works well for us is that we're Division III and we play three D-III teams, a D-IV team and the rest are all D-II. A lot of them are top in the division too, so when we can get to where we aren't playing those teams we can really make some noise.

en I don't think the loss will make us play any harder. If you aren't playing hard at this point, then you aren't going to be playing hard anyway.

en We aren't playing defense and we aren't rebounding the basketball. This has gotten off to a bad start, but we have to find a way to turn it around.

en Other teams aren't going to stop trying to beat us because these guys aren't playing. We got to try to soften some of the blow we have been dealt right now.

en It's been hard. When kids are coming along, they aren't used to playing at a high intensity level and when they try it, sometimes they aren't as effective.

en The players need to look at themselves and stand up and be counted. Some people aren't playing to their maximum potential. Unfortunately some of them don't see it like that. Some of them aren't earning their money.

en A lot of times we kick our own self in the butt. I think, when we're playing our best, no one can beat us.

en We have a real focus on these seven division games. Hopefully, we have a good grasp on being able to lock up the division. Believe me, I'm happy we're playing teams like this. Our players recognize competition, and this is good competition for us.

en It's a niche market and there are very few kids interested in playing that aren't playing in other leagues. Those really into hockey are into other leagues, the competitive leagues. Those interested in just recreational hockey . . . well, the numbers just aren't there.

en To have 36 assists on 43 baskets shows that we are playing team basketball. We aren't as good as we looked tonight, and we aren't as bad as we looked in Dallas.

en Divide the member schools of the Association into two divisions at the end of the regular season for all KHSAA-sanctioned postseason competition. Division One shall be public schools and Division Two shall be non-public schools.

en I think that certainly is a factor in some of the scores. It takes more time to get a shot against a zone than it does man-to-man. Teams that are playing zone probably aren't fouling as much, so you aren't getting as many points at the free throw line.

en I really believe that. The guys who aren't even playing have amazing talent. Joe Ford, (junior) Ben Pemberton, those guys can play ball, and all it takes is the adjustment to Division I basketball.
