What you're doing by ordspråk

en What you're doing by moving the stadium is creating six city blocks for an exciting new development. It creates employment opportunity and it's not something that would have happened on the south side of the old stadium.

en Watching the games last year and trying to get a feel of what it meant for this community, it's an exciting week for us. I've heard a lot about what the stadium is going to be like. The stadium was great two weeks ago when we played but I've heard that it creates an emotional environment and I'm pretty excited about that.

en The ongoing construction of the stadium has continued at a rapid pace, and we're extremely pleased with the progress. It's projected to be done on time. But, in moving the San Jose State game to Spartan Stadium, we feel it gives us that extra week to assure ourselves that the stadium will be 100 percent ready.

en It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en Nobody bought land around RFK. Everybody bought land around [the stadium site] in Southeast. The stadium site in Southeast stretches the development of the city. RFK has been there for 25 or 30 years, and there's no development happening around there. You don't want baseball to happen in an island.

en We certainly appreciate the support we received from the Stadium Authority. Moving forward, we feel there is a new spirit of cooperation and partnership between the University of Hawaii and Aloha Stadium.

en We have a superb stadium for the World Cup. I am convinced that the millions of people who see the games in this stadium will remember the city forever.

en I might be biased but the Millennium Stadium is about the best in Europe. The closeness of the city centre to the stadium itself makes for a brilliant atmosphere and everyone is near the action on the pitch as well,

en [It's] critical that you have to have sufficient-enough TV angles in every stadium to do that, ... And there's no way to get that done in college football. It's going to be different in every conference, every stadium. There's no way the technology is going to be equitable in every stadium.

en It's a very exciting day with the changes that have taken place at the stadium. We want our fans to show their support for our program by wearing green. We want the entire stadium in green.

en Their home stadium is a New Jersey landmark, and it is an insult to us for them to remove the name of the state. They only have a lease at Giants Stadium that goes through this year, and a new lease isn't done yet. They're not playing in this stadium [in 2007] with that name.

en There was no way we could have existed in Division I football without a new facility. We had arguably the worst stadium in the country. Any time a recruit came to town we never took him to the stadium ? which is fundamental because you always take a recruit to the stadium.

en Doing it that way makes things cleaner so the county or city or some governmental agency would actually own the land. That would be prime real estate. But the stadium would be owned privately. Unlike what we were proposing before, we are not proposing that any of the public funding go towards stadium construction.

en Let me say this about the stadium: There has been very little progress towards a new stadium. And, I was thinking the other day, reflecting back on the last four years, if any of the thousands of fans -- good fans -- who were on that World Series parade route were in touch with their elected officials and expressed their desire to keep the team in South Florida, and keep it going, it probably would have been done by now. I'm very surprised that it hasn't been done by now, especially with our contribution. That's really all I want to say about it. We have options, and we're looking at all our options right now.

en It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en I don't want to hate on history. I don't want to disrespect anybody. But a stadium's a stadium. I don't care if we're in the Rose Bowl or a high school stadium, I don't care. History is great but history's not going to help you win a game.
