It?s just an opportunity to highlight both leagues after the season.

It's hard to win in the big leagues when you're not in the big leagues. I kind of had to bide my time and hope that the opportunity would happen.

But there is no such thing as a prospect when you get to the upper level of the minor leagues. You either play well or you don't. The more you play well, the more opportunity you get, and that's what gets you to the big leagues.

We are pleased to extend the affiliation agreement as the top affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. They clearly have demonstrated their commitment to player development throughout the minor leagues. Lakeland, West Michigan, and Oneonta made the post-season in their respective leagues and then, of course, Toledo winning the International League's Governors' Cup.

I am thankful for the opportunity. I welcome the chance to be in the rotation for the Florida Marlins. I feel I'm ready for the big leagues. The last couple of months, I worked hard in winter ball for this opportunity.

I would take the bench role. And that's just the stage that I'm at in my career. I think I'm excited about a big-league opportunity, whichever opportunity it is at this point. ... I want to play at the highest level, and that's the major leagues and that's playing on a team like this.
