The coach told me I had to step up when Danny Cloud went out. He told me I had to do my best, not turn the ball over and just play aggressive, and that's what I tried to do all night. Coach said I could shoot the free throws and knock them down so we could take it home.

I started out slow, but that fourth quarter came and coach told me to try to take over, and get some open looks and knock down my free throws. When we got the ball, we spread it out and I was able to make things happen.

Coach (Mike Hackett) told me I was going to get a three, and just to knock it down. I can't explain the confidence my coach and teammates have in me.

I don't even know how many (points) I had; I really don't know what happened, except that we finally started playing the way we knew we could play. In the first half, we just didn't play any defense at all. And Coach told us about it at halftime. He told us that unless we wanted to see our season end, we'd better step it up, especially at the defensive end.
