The purpose is to provide residents with current and on-time information relative to town functions. Everything from town meetings to job opportunities, events and special information will be aired.

I think some people may be thinking that if they give us information about their house, we're going to put restrictions on their houses. That's not purpose at all. The purpose is for information for the town.

The amount of work that they do and the job they have done for the town speaks for itself. The supervisor and the town board members are pretty much [working] 24-7. The role of a town administrator is to provide factual information for elected policy makers to make rational and informed decisions. It is incumbent on the administrator to present the most accurate information.

The current investigation is stalled by certain residents who pass information to the victim's family, and later adopt a change-of-mind attitude at the time when police react to that information.

One of the functions the Society has and will develop further this year is educating residents as to the history of the community and the families that founded what was originally called Franklin Township. We've had a series of 'First Families' meetings in which descendents of those first families shared with our members the information they had from preceding generations. That's going to be a huge issue that we haven't addressed yet. In all likelihood I would frankly expect that taxes would actually probably go up for town residents, relative to city residents.

This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

The Bush administration came to town with the purpose of exerting better control over information as a way of restoring power to the executive branch.

We want Old Town Square to be a focal point for fun in Bandera, a place where locals can hold their special events and meetings, or just visit us for a relaxing dinner with friends on the patio. Likewise, tourists can use Old Town Square as a home base during their visit to Bandera. They can stay overnight and dine with us, but also explore all that Bandera has to offer, ... This was the place to come to. We want to make it that kind of place again.
