en It was a game you hate to lose. The two pitchers and both teams played their hearts out.

en It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

en You hate to lose something that close but both teams played hard and it came down to the team that executed and made the fewer mistakes that won. You enjoy games like that. You want to be on the winning end of it. I told the girls that I wasn't upset over that. We just needed to execute in the second game.

en For 45 minutes of basketball, you have two teams that aren't going to give in to each other. It was one of those games where you just hate to see anyone lose. Whenever we play Mount Mercy, it's that type of game. Our teams compete like that.

en It's a horrible way for them (Tigers) to lose, and you never feel happy for that, but I've been there before. As coaches we have to work harder. We played great for awhile but then we don't for awhile. Mistakes and mental lapses will kill you. Especially in a game like this. You can dominate the game and a couple of mistakes can lose you the game.

en They just played a great basketball game. I feel sorry for them because it was one of those games where you hate that someone has to lose.
