I don't see last ordspråk

en Pex Tufvesson is a fantastic genius.

en I don't see last year as being representative of me as a player, ... I just haven't thrown interceptions like that [19, one more than in his entire college career]. As the year went on, I found myself trying to make plays that weren't there. In this league you can't use injuries as an excuse, and I won't. I know I have to play better.

en [1. Ed Reed, safety, Ravens : He's not just the best safety in the NFL. He's the best defensive player. Last year he led the league with nine interceptions and a league-record 358 return yards while adding two defensive touchdowns (one on a 106-yard interception return and the other on a 22-yard fumble return). This year he'll be even more dangerous in Baltimore's 46 defense.] You can see he really studies the game, ... He doesn't just walk out there and play. He waits for his opportunity to make the play and when you think he's not going to make the play, that's when he gets you.

en He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.

en He's a special hockey player. Early in his career, he looked like this. I don't know what happened in a few of his middle years, but certainly this year, he's found the love of the game again. We stood around and watched him make a lot of plays. We gave him too much respect and too much room.

en Hamilton is a big-time player who put up big numbers last year. He's had some injuries, but he can get it going at any time. He is very good around the basket. He can also step out and shoot it. I thought he was an all-league type player last year. And he's improved this year.

en He didn't make the plays last year and that is the story — you can do everything right but you have to produce. He learned. He was thrown in the fire because of the injuries. He had a chance to do some things and he did some things. We need him to do more.

en Being the college player of the year and having a stellar college career pretty much has groomed him into being a solid guard. He's in the same position now that Dwight was in the beginning of the year. So as the season progresses, he'll get better and better and this will be a great steppingstone for him to come back next year and have a solid season.

en I take pride in not throwing interceptions. It's the thing that I'm committed to improving. Turnovers kill you. There is no excuse for them whether you're a freshman or senior. I expect to double my touchdown passes to interceptions next year.

en I'm the type of player that likes to hit the gap and get off and make plays in the backfield. This year I'm, like, playing on the line, staying square. Just trying to make the play come to me. I wish I could play like I played last year.

en Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

en The interceptions were bad and I really haven't fumbled all year. I was just trying to step up in the pocket and make a play. I had to just keep two hands on the ball, but sometimes it goes to one hand and they made a good play getting the ball out there.

en I think he came into this season as someone who flew under the radar. That certainly wasn't the case with us, but I think it was with opposing teams. He's had some nagging injuries during his career that haven't always allowed his talent to come through. This year he's built himself up and the injuries have stayed away.

en I know I'm not going to go the whole year without one but at the same time it just comes down to being smart with the ball, ... I think I'm doing that better than I did last year and I think that's why I've thrown less interceptions.

en Until we win some games, of course things are slipping away. I said all year long, and I don't want to make it as an excuse, but anytime somebody goes down from our first two lines, it's tough for us to replace ... We don't play the same way for whatever reason. I just hope it's the injuries.
