en A pitcher should throw the ball over the plate. He shouldn't be throwing at the guy's head. You can pitch inside, but you don't throw at someone's head. There's no other way to say it. He hit him in the head. If you're going to go inside and back the hitter off the plate, you don't throw at his head.

en One through 9, our lineup is solid. Our pitching is good enough, the middle of the lineup is picking up and the bottom of our lineup has been solid.

en Basically tonight we just did not pitch very well. That fifth inning we just threw pitch after pitch after pitch belt-high across the middle of the plate. Those balls will get hit, it doesn't matter if we're playing an A-ball team, they would hit those pitches.
