I still think the big part of the game was our inability to take advantage of our control in the first half where we created chances and had a lot of the play. Their forwards won the battle and made a difference in the second half.

I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

Even though we did not win the game, we played very well in the second half. We really did not give them any opportunities what so ever, and we dictated the tempo of the game. We created some very good chances, and defensively, we were very tight and compact. If we play like we did in the second half, we will win games.

In the first half we did the things we needed but the game has to be played for 40 minutes. That separation they created in the second half was the difference in the ballgame. We had a couple of lulls in different series of the game, especially in the second half. For the most part, I thought we did a great job defensively, especially creating turnovers. The thing that made the difference here were the turnovers. We won the turnover battle.

In no way does that diminish his game - especially in the first half, he was the difference - but when you see a guy play like that, you wonder if you can get that in the second half. Maybe not 21 points, but someone who can continue to play the same way.

We shot better in the first half, but played better defense in the second. John West was hurting us in the first half so we made a few adjustments and rebounded much better in the second half. We didn't let him get many second chances in the second half and we put a hand in their faces when they attempted three-pointers, too.

I know that we can play much better. They went out and did a job. We were brilliant sometimes and created good chances in the first half. They were brilliant in the second half defending. Austria had no good chances to score.
