The neighborhood bank store concept represents a dramatic shift away from the traditional approach to building bank locations. The new store design significantly improves speed to market and cost of construction, allowing us to build more locations quickly and provide increased convenience for customers. This ramp-up of openings, which represents the largest store opening program in five years, is in direct response to the enhanced performance we're seeing in new stores opened under our more rigorous site selection process.

The Drake home was where Wachovia bank is now. Both Mom and Dad were natives of Hendersonville. Her family operated Drake General Store and of course my family had the cleaners, although my great-grandfather had a store on Main Street at one time.

On the other hand, we would not prohibit tramps from browsing, or testing the trampolines, unless a tramp's gyrations seemed to be getting out of control.

I have a true love and passion for these antiques. Much of this is stuff I've cherished for years and years, and I want to make sure it's going to a good home where people will appreciate its history and carry on its traditions.
