en I give La Plata a lot of credit. They came out and out-played us early on. We looked a tad fatigued, but we convinced them we had to turn it up a notch. By doing that on defense, we were able to create some offense.

en We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). Chris knocked down that 3-pointer early. That set the tone for us. I think we got some easy looks out of our zone offense. That got them out of their zone defense late in the first quarter. Then, our man offense worked really good.

en I want to give BYU a lot of credit. Their offense did a good job of spreading the field. They played very well and they have a physical defense.

en We finally started playing some defense. We got it down to two points, but then our offensive efficiency lacked. We couldn't get two things going at once. We played good defense, but we couldn't get it going on offense. If our offense clicked, we struggled on the defensive end.

en It comes every game, and you know it's coming. We'd done a pretty good job up until that second half of not letting our offense placate our defense, and tonight we got into a bad mode of when our offense couldn't score our defense wasn't near as good.

en Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

en Give Tattnall some credit. They played great in the first half. When we hit some shots early in the third quarter, it helped us get into our pressure defense.

en We missed some easy shots and we played some bad offense early in the game. Our defense turned around in the second quarter. We got our offense out of our defense. Then we settled down and started making some good plays. It came out of our defense first.

en We didn't take advantage of a few of our good chances. Give their goalie and defense credit.
