We still have some kids recovering from illness and injuries. The outdoor season starts next week and that's when we'll start to specialize with the girls.

en After all of us kids were grown and moved away, Mom and Daddy moved back to where they grew up. It was home.

en We made some great strides today. The girls are feeling more confident. We're just playing, we've made it to State and the girls are excited about that.

en I moved away once because my wife went to Oklahoma. I moved to Oklahoma twice and at that time my wife and I split up and I moved down there to be with my kids, and that interrupted some testing for my diploma.

en We showed a little composure and the girls were fighting back no matter what. I told them at the start of overtime we were in the same shape we were at the beginning, only a little tired. The kids responded well and we hit some late free throws.

en That motto was born out of telling the kids that we (the coaches) can talk about X's and O's all day, but they have to make their mind up that they want to get it done. I can't always call the plays that are going to work. Sometimes the kids have to take it upon themselves. No matter what it takes, no matter what we have to do, just get it done.
