My shooting is coming ordspråk

en My shooting is coming around much better now (than) from the beginning of the season. I just want to keep rebounding at a high level. I'm averaging about seven rebounds a game.

en She's averaging 9.8 points, nine rebounds and five assists. The numbers have been there all year. I think she's scored in double figures in the last six or seven straight. She wasn't shooting the ball a lot, but we told her to keep shooting. It's hard when you're the point guard, but she tries to balance it out.

en In the past, his game was getting out in the fast break and scoring in the transition, but we needed him to rebound more this year so he had to change the way he played. And when most teams keyed in on him and he drew the double team, it was a different game for him. But he still posted the numbers. At the end of the season, he was averaging 18 points and nine rebounds.

en In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. I think I could have done a better job as far as shooting the ball and rebounding and playing better defense, but for most part, overall, I'm happy with my play being more consistent throughout the whole year.

en I'm hoping this is a coming out for (Brown). She's averaging 11 points per game but I feel like she should be averaging more.

en You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

en I am not going to talk about rebounding because I may jinx us, but it is an effort. We may have set an all-time low in rebounds with 18 at Michigan State, but when you look at it, Marco has had 12 and 10 (rebounds). He is going after rebounds he wasn't going after earlier.

en I thought we played good defense and started rebounding a little bit better this game. We gave up a few too many rebounds inside, at times, but it's a good rebounding team.

en We've cut down on turnovers. We had a problem turning the ball over at the beginning of the season, We were averaging about 19 turnovers at the beginning of the season and we're now down to 15 to 16 turnovers. So that's a major improvement.

en Like our other games, we improved our rebounding in the second half. So we have to think about it and start rebounding well from the beginning of the game.

en Our players got a little tentative at the end of the game, and started to second-guess their shots. The two things we pride ourselves on are rebounding and defense. We did a good job holding them to 34 percent shooting, but our rebounding was not where it needed to be.

en Johns is averaging about 22 points a game and a team leader in rebounds.

en I worked a lot with the coaches on my rebounding and I hope I can still get more rebounds as the season goes along.

en Two of their players, Angela Clark and Danielle Chambers, are averaging better than 10 rebounds per game.

en He's rebounded in NBA games. He's had 15 rebounds on a 10-day last year with Portland [and] he had seven rebounds with Philly earlier this season. He's shown the ability to rebound at this level, so he's somebody worth taking a look at.
