If the state says ordspråk

en If the state says there's a plan, that's an overstatement.

en The effort to restore our state requires a daring, yet realistic plan. A plan based on input from people in all walks of life. A plan created from the ground up. A plan driven by local needs. A plan inspired by innovation, ... We cannot simply re-create what the storms destroyed. We must make the new Louisiana smarter, safer and stronger.

en What the state said was that it was a good plan, but that it lacked the resources, we lacked the resources to implement. My question is why not address the resource issue and allow the plan to be implemented in collaboration with both the city and the state?

en She's been in the top 20 all season and the top 24 in the state (qualify for the state meet), and her personal goal is to get to the state level. If everything goes according to plan (at district), she'll get there.

en We're reiterating what Commissioner Hilsher has already said, ... The attorney general's office has no problem with accepting a donation with no ties attached. I am concerned it has ties, particularly since a private attorney representing one of the entities in the state's case has contacted members of the OSRC. The problem lies in the point of focus of the resolution, which includes a voluntary litter reduction plan by the industry. The OSRC is a state agency. If a state agency condones, ratifies or approves any plan by the poultry industry with regard to litter reduction, it is in direct conflict with the state's case, and as a state agency, the OSRC should take that under advisement.

en A big part of the reason for why tuition increased (in the past) is due to the state's budget difficulties and the fact that a few years ago there were significant reductions in state funding provided to higher education. Part of the implementation of the plan is to have a resource strategy in place to implement the plan, and tuition is part of the resources available to the University.

en The requirement is that priorities need to be established first, they need to be approved by the state school board, and then you go about doing a plan. You don't do it backwards, you don't develop a plan without the state school board first setting those priorities, and that was the fatal problem.

en We will now incorporate this (state) plan into the health department's all-emergencies preparedness plan. It will become like an appendix.

en The whole plan is a statewide plan, so Northwest Indiana has as much potential as any other part of the state.

en The state is still waiting for what it wants - a plan. The governor has made her commitment to doing a project so long as there's a plan that's viable.

en We plan to be as accommodating as possible and look at each situation on a case-by-case basis. We also plan to reach out to the state high school associations in the affected region to determine how they plan to manage these types of situations and determine how best to work with them. But right now it's too early to give any specifics.

en Basically the plan was dead on arrival. The plan wasn't done following state law.

en I want to see how the Arizona plan works out, utilizing the National Guard. It would be more expensive for the state of Texas, ... but if it's successful there, I think we're going to have to perhaps consider that type of plan.
