We're a little disappointed ordspråk

We're a little disappointed in the depth. There are a lot of kids who worked pretty hard in the weight room this summer and aren't quite living up to what I think they should be doing. But it's still early and we've had a couple guys step up.

Our expectations were pretty high. Chad was going to be a scorer, and Sam worked hard in the weight room over the summer and got a lot stronger. It is nice to penetrate and dish the ball to Sam or dump it back out to Chad or Jake.

Our guys came out tight early, but then it was a game. Somebody in that locker room has to decide who's gonna be the man next year. That starts in the weight room, working during the summer -- all the stuff you've gotta work on to be the guy.

He is one of the most dedicated, hard-working kids I have ever coached. Josh is a solid four-year wrestler who former standout wrestler Greg Murphy took under his wing when Josh was a freshman. Josh worked hard in the weight room with Murphy and he is living proof that hard work pays off.

I worked hard on my game this summer. I got in the weight room and got stronger overall. I just worked on my game and my shooting. My performance has improved a lot.

I?m sure both of those guys wish they were going to the playoffs and I?m sure they?re disappointed. But I think it?s great for our guys to see how they have handled this. There?s no quit in them. They still are working hard and competing hard, and I think that?s a big reason why we won those six in a row. It starts in practice and in the weight room, and their work habits there are obvious.

We still have a small group and that's always going to be difficult but a lot of the kids came down this summer and worked out in the weight room. We have a different feel and a different attitude than last year. They're more aggressive, they want to go out there and compete and win.

She worked out in the weight room a lot last summer and was probably the only one who put in work this summer. Her play is all-out hustle all the time.

He was one of the hardest working guys in the weight room I've ever been around. I don't think you work as hard as he worked if you don't have a passion for it.

We talked about it all week. Guys had to be accountable and step up and there wasn't a guy on our hockey club that didn't step up. I'm excited for the kids because they worked hard for that victory. Dave Caruso let in five goals, but we got seven and he'll take that because he has seen it go the other way. You see a big change in the attitude there. You see more and more guys staying around in the summer and working out together. You see more and more of them in the weight room, paying the price to be better. And they're seeing the rewards that hard work brings to them.

We're hoping to (throw more). Josh has got a year under his belt now and is really comfortable. He's really perfected his craft over the summer. Plus, he's worked hard in the weight room and has more zip on the ball. He's making good reads in his first week of practices.

Everything in our program starts in the weight room. If you don't lift weights, it's awful hard to get on the field on Friday night. Our kids turn out and they work pretty hard.

Our depth hasn't been good the last few years. We're trying to generate the numbers right now. We've got 40, 45 kids coming into the weight room every day. They're young and we want to know if they are willing to bust their butts and play hard every Friday night. We want to get to the point where we are competing for district titles.

He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. There's a couple of question marks that we'll work out during the first few weeks. But this is a great group of guys who worked hard all summer.
