en We asked Ike to get some things done and he has made progress in that regard. With that in mind, he has been reinstated to the team. We wanted to try and let him get some things done here this spring. I feel comfortable that Ike will work hard to be a successful part of this football program.

en No. 1, often times the grass is not greener. And secondly, I think your existing players feel like they've been slighted because you didn't take care of them when you took care of someone else. But I do think there will be opportunities to add players to our team that can come in and play a role and help our team get better.

en The whole weekend was an opportunity of growth for us as a team. We took that opportunity by winning two games here at home against a quality team. We talked about before the game that it was an opportunity for us to grow and forge ourselves into the type of team we want to have at the end of the year, when we can do some things.

en It's not about moral losses. We didn't care what they were ranked. We wanted to win. Little things won this game, but we showed we can play with any team in the state.

en I feel good about the team. I just don't know whether I've done the right job in getting them ready. Anything I've asked them to do, they've done. Now, whether I've asked them to do the right things is something I've got to constantly evaluate.
