Marketing comes up with a wonderful campaign and they don't tell anybody. It was a great campaign but nobody told manufacturing and they don't have enough staffing and nobody told HR and all of a sudden what could have been a very successful campaign turns into a customer satisfaction nightmare.

XM has always had an enormous push during the holiday season, but this holiday campaign is our biggest holiday marketing push yet. This is a marketing campaign aimed directly at holiday shoppers.

I see the flawless fusion of on and off-line branding as the success to any marketing campaign. This will allow the potential customer not only to have an experience but also to recognize the brand in any medium of the marketing mix.

We are continually assessing what the impacts are, and the decision to run a campaign or not and/or the scale of that campaign will depend on that assessment. If the story tends to blow over quickly, we may simply have the same marketing message that we already have on the books. If there's an impact on the business, we might assess that situation differently.

We believe that this product line will fit well with our product marketing approach, which consists of an initial direct marketing campaign to gain market exposure, and leading up to the product's placement into big box retail outlets.

There are promising alternatives. But there need to be integrated marketing efforts, (instead of) requiring the customer to put the package together.

There is little doubt that relevant and timely e-mail communications are becoming evermore central to the development of successful integrated marketing programs that build and accelerate long-term profitable customer relationships. Any good campaign is going to cause people to stop and wonder about it.
