en Until last year, Congress was just a club; we are trying to make it more serious and more influential for the student body. We are looking to reform our committees to make ourselves more respected and more advertised. We are trying to become more visible in the community as well as make Congress more visible on campus though we know we still have a long way to go.

en We've focused a lot on visible evidence. We believe that a community needs to make the visible statement about who the community is.

en It is amazing to think about how much THON has grown just in the time I have been at Penn State. Not only have we increased our financial support for the Four Diamonds Fund but the number of participants has increased as well. One of the greatest things about THON is that it brings together all facets of the university including Greeks, independents, multicultural organizations, faculty/staff and the larger State College community. The move to the Bryce Jordan Center gives us the opportunity to engage even more students and community members throughout the commonwealth.
