She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en It was a tough ballgame. In the first half, they beat us on the boards. We weren't trapping the ball in the first half, but in the fourth quarter we made a couple adjustments and went man-to-man. Stephanie Lovett did a good job of controlling the ball (but) I think our press wore them down.

en Today's game obviously showed you have to play four quarters. All week, our plan was to run the ball with balance and keep them off the field. Our plan worked in the first half. It did not work as well as we would have liked in the second half. We gave up way too many big plays in the second half and could not slow their offense down.

en We made some offensive adjustments at halftime, but they just exploited what we were trying to do with our four-man front. We lost to a good football team. We're going to take this loss like men and get up off the ground and we'll come back next week and give it our best effort.

en It was a good game where both teams did a good job of not giving up much. When we play these guys, it's always a grind. I thought we had good effort. It was one shot where the guy made the initial save, but it's awkward for the goalie sometimes.

en We lost our composure before the half, we lost field position in the third and we were crippled by penalties. We just flat-out got beat.

en I love our effort at the end of the game. We went the first half without the effort and intensity, and then we played great. Our guys have to decide what they really want. They have to learn how to play smart to beat the good teams, or we will come up short.
