When Tiger Woods hit the professional golf ranks, he had dumb people talking about fried-chicken dinners and sitting watermelons out on the golf course.

en Tiger is not playing as well as he did then. Guys like Vijay, Phil (Mickelson), Davis (Love) and me have elevated a little bit, and the gap has closed a bit. I think guys get to the first tee and really believe they can win with Tiger in the field. Golf will humble the best of them and that's where we are.

en Tomorrow is a toss up. The International side is a very strong 12 players. They're extremely tough and playing extremely good golf. The American team is playing some exceptional golf as well.

en I personally like what Vijay is doing out here, playing 30 or 31 events. We have 43 title sponsors, but Tiger thinks we have 18. Right now, Vijay is doing more for the PGA Tour than anybody ... I think Tiger needs to show his talents at different events. There are a lot of tournaments he's never played. There's no reason he can't play them.

en Michelle is good for golf, just as Tiger was good for golf. There are a lot of people who may not follow golf otherwise, but tune in when you've got Michelle or Tiger out there.

en The Harrison loss was a tough nut to swallow. It feels good to get back to playing good golf. Playing the kind of golf we're capable of playing.

en Taylor is playing steady golf for us right now, and that's good. He's averaging right around 40 after three meets, and he's still learning how high school golf works. He's learning as he goes, and still playing well.
