en The minor has a number of courses in film history and analysis that are just as important as the production classes. Although when people first hear about film courses, the production side tends to appeal to them more, we want to make people well-rounded.

en A film could have great production value, but if you don't feel moved by it or if it doesn't connect you in some way, we feel it's not a film we want at the festival.

en The film slate financing enables us to evolve our entertainment operations into film production, an area where we have experienced past success with our partners and which offers significant profit potential for our company. The characters involved are some of the most valuable in the Marvel Universe, and we are excited to launch them as consumer brands via feature film releases under our direction. We look forward to working with Brad Grey and the exceptional team he has put together at Paramount and are confident that this will be a successful venture for us both.

en The budget on the film was $9.5 million and we grossed the budget the first night. This is the first Platinum Dunes (film) Michael Bay has done (in his production deal at New Line) and he delivered in spectacular fashion. And the marketing was terrific.
