Find out who those ordspråk

Find out who those advertisers are and complain to them. That way, you're hitting the people who host the sites financially.

It wasn't enough and some of the other regulars didn't [participate] because of the hurricane damage and other things. We are going to request sites this year instead of waiting for them to volunteer. We got several complaints from the people up north in Palm Beach County about having to travel, but they could host. There are some beautiful sites up there.

Look, we knew there was going to be a fallout because advertisers take a cautious approach to risky shows. We've been through it before. Our competitors have been through it. If the show performs, we find that people get comfortable and advertisers come back.

It's not a proven business model yet. There will be some advertisers who won't mind sponsoring lots of crappy content cause they want to get in front the kids who go to these sites. But there are lots of advertisers who don't want anything do with it...One thing I can guarantee you is there's not enough advertising dollars to go around.

I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

Advertisers are already watching where people go on sites and now they're trying to get details of what is actually bought. Companies holding personal profiles should be required by law to handle the information with extreme care and only use it for the primary authorized purpose.

Our coaches want to be left to get their own sponsors. It steals their potential advertisers and we're already scratching to get sponsors anyway because of where we live in-between two towns. It can be a struggle for us to find advertisers.

Finance sites are attractive to advertisers as they tend to represent a pretty good demographic. It of course depends on the quality of the site, but it stands to reason that people who spend time reading about money and stocks, et cetera, probably have some money to invest.

These sites will be totally attractive to advertisers for one reason: numbers. Their audience is big and growing and their demographic are young males bored with cable and broadcast TV and who are spending more time on the Internet.

People were complaining that on the big sites they weren't finding people that shared their spiritual interests. I find that people, the deeper they are into Buddhism, the more important it is for them to have somebody else who's interested in it. The people who meditate or go to a Buddhist center tend to place a high premium on finding people who share their spiritual path.

We believe that it is better for successful Web site business owners to host their Web sites on separate hosting accounts. At the same time there are many people who need to cut the costs they pay for Web hosting services. By hosting more than one Web site on a single account, and having easier management of their on-line content they will be able to do that.
